PlayStation Now Games Titles December 2014: Mass Effect 2, NBA Jam, Mirror's Edge and Others Coming

PlayStation Now, Sony's game-streaming service, is now gaining traction among gamers has it recently teamed up with Electronic Arts (EA) in bringing five of their huge gaming titles into its library.

As reported by IGN, the game titles that are expected to arrive in the Dec. 2 are Mirror's Edge, Mass Effect 2, Dead Space 3, NBA Jam On Fire Edition and Bejeweled 3.

Further details were laid out by Peter Jamshidi, the Director of Marketing for PlayStation Now, who posted the announcement on PlayStation.Blog.com. He said that each of the games mentioned can be rented for a week for about $1 per day.

"Though you'll be able to select from a variety of options depending on how long you'd like to rent the game," Jamshidi added.

This is great news for those who own PS3, PS4, PS Vita, PS TV or a compatible Sony TV.

"With our streaming technology you can quickly jump into the game right after you rent it — no need to wait for downloads, installs, or patches. And with automatic cloud game saves, you can start playing on one device and continue playing on another," he went on to say.

EA would be the latest game publishing firm to join PS Now. Previous entrants include Konami, Capcom, Square Enix, and Sega.

The game streaming service is still on its Beta stage. Jamshidi further said that Sony is now working on a subscription service for PS Now and they will be handing out the details soon.

"PlayStation Now is expected to hit Europe sometime next year," IGN said.
