One of God's greatest gifts to us is the gift of family. Here are five Bible verses that remind us of the importance of this bond. Hopefully they will help us remain thankful for such a wonderful gift.

1) Proverbs 31:15
"She gets up while it is still night; she provides food for her family and portions for her female servants."

2) Acts 10:2
"He and all his family were devout and God-fearing; he gave generously to those in need and prayed to God regularly."

and even when they are old they will not turn from it."

4) Ephesians 5:28
"In this same way, husbands ought to love their wives as their own bodies. He who loves his wife loves himself."

5) Joshua 24:15
"But if serving the Lord seems undesirable to you, then choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your ancestors served beyond the Euphrates, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you are living. But as for me and my household, we will serve the Lord."
