72 Year-Old Grandpa Model for Teen Girl Clothes? (VIDEO)

Liu Xianping has become an overnight internet sensation after attempting to help his granddaughter build a better fashion business and agreeing to be her model.

Xianping believed that his granddaughter needed some fashion help, so he decided to offer her his advice. But perhaps his granddaughter was being skeptical, because the 72 year-old felt it was necessary to further illustrate his point. He did this by actually trying on the clothes that his granddaughter was trying to match. But what may have started off as a joke, has now turned in to a savvy business decision.

Xianping's granddaughter, referred to as Ms. Lv on the Daily Mail, began her online fashion business along with four other friends. All five girls happened to be around when Xianping decided to show off his modeling skills. The girls thought that it was so funny that they decided to taking pictures of the show. But after they uploaded the photos to the Internet, they were surprised by how much attention they got. The outfits were originally designed for young, teen girls.

"He picked up one piece and tried to give some advice on how to mix and match." Lv told Mail Online. "We thought it was fun so we started shooting."

Now, thanks to Xianping, the girls' sales at Yuekou have increased five-fold and Xianping has become a bit of a star, although for him its not about the fame. In a different interview Xianping stated that he is simply happy to be helping out his granddaughter and her business.

"Why unacceptable for someone like me to wear women's clothes? Modeling for the store is helping my granddaughter and I have nothing to lose," Xianping told Chinese Newsweek.
