The newly single Maroon 5 band member Adam Levine showed off a bloody lip in Los Angeles recently, while shooting the group's latest music video.

Adam Levine was recently spotted with his band Maroon 5 in Los Angeles, shooting the latest video for the new single "Payphone." Pictures from the shoot reveal Levine donned in brown pants and a blue suit coat with a seemingly dorky looking tie and a pair of gold rimmed glasses.

Levine appeared to be fleeing with an unidentified female for the shoot. The lead singer was also donning a bloodied lip.

"Am I the only one getting a serious Walter White-meets-Superman vibe? That's a sexy combination I can live with," Nicole James wrote for MTV.

"Shot the video for "Payphone" today. More tomorrow. This **** is truly insane. In a great way. Crazy," Levine tweeted about the shoot Wednesday evening.

The "Voice" judge appears to be recovering well after his split from Victoria's Secret model Anne Vyalitsyna. The couple split in April, after the model promised a friendly break.

"Adam and I have decided to separate in an amicable and supportive manner. We still love and respect each other as friends. I wish him all the best," 26-year-old Vyalitsyna said.

The two reportedly met in 2010 at a Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue release where Maroon 5 had performed.

It didn't take long for others to take notice of the newly single singer. Days after Jenifer Love Hewitt said on the Ellen DeGeneres show that she had her eye on him.

"I always have my eyes out," Hewitt said when asked about dating. "I just read two days ago that Adam Levine is single again … I'm just saying," Hewitt remarked.
