Amidst rumors of a secret wedding ceremony, Adele has taken to her Twitter account to debunk gossip of her marrying fiancé Simon Konecki.
Even though the couple is not only engaged but expecting a child together, the 24-year-old singer adamantly denied Thursday's reports of a wedding.
"I'm not married…" Adele posted to Twitter Thursday. "Zzzzzz."
It is assumed that the British singing sensation was indicating her boredom with the media's speculation of her personal life, adding the "Zzzzzz" to insinuate that she was sleeping.
Reports of a "fabulous occasion" arose on Thursday in which Adele wore "classic attire" and married Konecki in an under-the-radar ceremony, according to Mail Online.
"Adele was dressed in classic attire and Simon looked very smart and joyous," said a source claiming to be close to the star.
No further details were revealed, but it appears as though the insider's account was false.
Thursday was not the first time Adele has acknowledged rumors surrounding her personal life. When rumors mounted about her engagement, the Grammy Award-winner took to her blog.
"This is the first and last time I will comment on the details of my relationship with Simon," wrote the "Rolling In The Deep" singer at the time.
"Contrary to reports and headlines in the press today, Simon is divorced and has been for 4 years," she wrote.
In addition to defending her then-boyfriend, Adele noted the support of her friends and family.
"Everyone is our lives separately and together wish us nothing but the best, and vice versa," she added. "These are the facts. Take care and see you all in February xx."
As she has not yet wed Konecki, Adele has also not released any details surrounding their upcoming nuptials. In the meantime, she and her fiancée anticipate the arrival of their little one.
Months later, Adele used the blog to announce more important news: her pregnancy.
"Im delighted to announce that Simon and I are expecting our first child together," the singer posted to her blog in June. "I wanted you to hear the news direct from me, obviously we're over the moon and very excited but please respect our privacy at this precious time. Yours always, Adele xx"
While the singer is not very active on Twitter, she did update fans on her opinion of the 2012 London Games earlier this month.
"I LOVED the Olympics! Thank you everyone for making it so great! Wish I was there but I'm not, enjoy, x."
