Aerosmith's Joe Perry Health Update: Guitarist Now in Stable Condition

Aerosmith guitarist Joe Perry is now in stable condition after he collapsed on Sunday while performing in Coney Island's Ford Amphitheater with actor Johnny Depp and singer Alice Cooper in his side band, the Hollywood Vampires.
According to wcvb.com, the guitarist was seen struggling as he played David Bowie's "Rebel, Rebel." Perry slowly walked out of the stage in the middle of the song.
"He sat down during the song and then walked off behind the drum set. After that, you could see a whole bunch of backstage people run off to the left side of the stage," Kevin Phalon, a member of the audience, said in an interview. This caused worry to the fans as they brought their concern through social media.

The band continued playing while the New York police and fire department attended to the 65-year-old rock star. He was sent to the Coney Island Hospital and unwent various tests to check on his condition. As of now, the reason behind his collapse is still unknown.
Steven Tyler, Perry's bandmate and vocalist of Aerosmith, sent an "I love you" to his dear friend through Twitter, saying that Perry must be feeling millions of prayers for his well-being. The singer tweeted, "We all love you. Sending white light and all that I got your way."
Nikki Sixx's Mötley Crüe also sent his get-well wishes via Twitter, telling Perry to "hang on" as he is still needed by the music industry.
Metallica's Kirk Hammett sent in his best wishes as well and hoped for the fast recovery of the rock icon.
Joe Perry's official Twitter page confirmed his health condition on Monday, saying that he is already in good shape. The post said, "Thanks to all of the fans reaching out and asking about Joe. He is stable right now, with family and is under the best care."
The band is in the middle of their U.S. tour and is set out to play on July 12 in Kettering, Ohio. There's still no confirmation whether Perry will be performing on the said day.
