"As Jarvis' precision and quick-thinking skills are put to the ultimate test, Peggy must find a way to stop an atomic explosion that threatens to destroy all of California…"

Speculations about the main storyline suggest that this widescale threat of destruction could be a distraction by someone from the Council of Nine to throw SSR off Whitney Frost's trail. After all, it is of their utmost interest to buy her an ample amount of time as she gets a grip on the Zero Matter. Her control of the substance may already be improving but it is also tearing her apart.

Meanwhile, the report from TVGuide.com teased what could be the outcome of the flirting game between the SSR agent and Jason. According to the media outlet, they will find a new way of using zero matter that could make it possible for their relationship to take off even further.

Find out how these events unfold when "Marvel's Agent Carter" Season 2 Episode 5 "The Atomic Job" premieres this Tuesday, Feb. 9 at 9 p.m. on ABC.

Hayley Atwell stars as Agent Peggy Carter, James D' Arcy as Edwin Jarvis, Enver Gjokaj as SSR Chief Daniel Sousa, and Wynn Everett as Whitney Frost.
