'Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.' News: Cast Attends Paleyfest and Talks Show, Season 2 Episode 5 Plot Revealed

The cast and crew of "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." were at New York Paleyfest and shared some info about the characters and the recent season of the show.

Actors Clark Gregg, Ming-Na Wen and Chloe Bennett and executive producer Jeph Loeb were all at the New York event and in an interview with Hypable, they said that fans can expect more excitement in the weeks to come.

"There's definitely a different feel in season 2," said Gregg, who plays Agent Coulson on the show. Of his character, he said "his job requires that the mission comes first, at the expense potentially of the lives of the people he holds dear."

Bennett spoke of how much she enjoyed playing her character, Skye.

"She's changed so much since season 1," Bennet revealed. "It's been really, really fun playing her this season …it's been really nice to grow as an actress along with the character."

Ming-Na also spoke about her work on the show and how her character, Agent May, serves as the mother figure of the group.

"She's really taken on Coulson's old role, because Coulson's taken on Fury's old director," said Ming-Na.

Meanwhile, the Oct. 21 episode of "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." will introduce a new character as Agent Simmons' undercover status will be in jeopardy once she meets HYDRA's head of security, Bobbi Morse (Adrianne Palicki).

The fifth episode of season 2, titled "A Hen in the Wolf House," has this premise:

"Coulson's team is up against the beautiful and deadly Bobbi Morse- Security Chief for HYDRA. Meanwhile, Skye's father forces Raina to reunite him with his daughter at any cost," the synopsis reads.

Watch season 2, episode 5 of "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." on Tuesday, Oct. 21 at 9 p.m. on ABC.
