'Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.' News, Update: Clark Gregg Talks About the Secret Warriors in Season 3
Cast member Clark Gregg recently revealed some details on the upcoming third season of ABC's hit superhero TV drama series "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." One of the highlights of the conversation is about the new initiative that his Agent Coulson will take into next year, which is forming the Secret Warriors.
Gregg explained the agent's thought process as to why he needs to assemble the Secret Warriors, which will see Chloe Bennet's Skye/Daisy Johnson as its "secret weapon."
"One of the reasons why he's putting together the Secret Warriors [is], I feel like HYDRA always ... you cut off one head and others appear. I don't think we've heard the last from them," he told io9.com. "I feel like there's some disgruntled Inhumans out there, probably, and I think we'll expose some more of them. The whole world of S.H.I.E.L.D. has become more fluid and changing, and Nick Fury's out there."

Although not much of Season 3 has been spilled by the cast, it has already been known that a handful of members from the original roster will be returning for the upcoming installment.
The report from Screen Rant said that Ming-Na Wen (Melinda May), Brett Dalton (Grant Ward), Iain De Caestecker (Leo Fitz), and Elizabeth Henstridge (Jemma Simmons) will be reprising their roles.
Additionally, Season 2 newcomers like Adrianne Palicki (Bobbi Morse/Mockingbird), Nick Blood (Lance Hunter), Henry Simmons (MacKenzie) and Luke Mitchell (Lincoln Campbell) will be returning as series regulars.
"Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." Season 3 premieres Sept. 29 on ABC.
