'Agents of SHIELD' Season 3 News, Spoilers: Fitz Gets Hold Of Information Relating To Simmons' Disappearance
The plot thickens as the third season of ABC's hit superhero drama TV series "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." continues to dig deeper into the issues concerning the Inhumans as well as finding out the whereabouts of one of the agency's operatives.
Titled "Purpose in the Machine," the spoiler report from International Business Times said that the episode might finally reveal the fate of Agent Simmons who got swallowed into an unknown realm last season.
As stated in the episode synopsis, Coulson's team is going to ask for the assistance of an Asgardian to unlock the mysteries surrounding the ancient monolith which is responsible for Simmons' current circumstance.

The previous episode revealed that the rest of the squad had to put aside the search and rescue operation as they had to attend to the immediate concern, which is to round up the emerging Inhumans. Agent Fitz, however, was quite determined to get hold of Simmons no matter what extreme lengths he has to go through.
Meanwhile, the rest of the summary indicated that Agent May will be facing a dilemma as she reaches the point where she has to choose between her personal life and her career.
Agent Coulson is currently doubling up his efforts with the present Inhuman crisis as his sidekick has yet to return from her vacation.
But Coulson may soon be able to catch his breath. Actress Ming-Na Wen revealed in an earlier interview that her character is coming back. However, there are still some battles she has to face within her before she can make a decision.
"…May will be attempting to juggle actually having a personal life on top of her professional one," she said (via FranchiseHerald.com). "She's trying to figure it out and that's why, in the first episode, no one's really sure where her head's at right now."
