'Alaskan Bush People' News: Season 8 Canceled? Ami's Condition Worsens

Fans of "Alaskan Bush People" continue to grow concerned as the show does not have a return date yet, making people speculate that reality documentary series has been canceled.

Earlier this year, the Brown family matriarch, Ami, was diagnosed with lung cancer. It has affected the family in many ways, but they are said to be trying to remain positive despite the struggle.

"I realized early into this that it's very easy to want to give up and just die. And on the pessimist side, it could be my last days," she told PEOPLE last month. "But I have the will to fight," she added.

Ami's illness has also led some people to think that the Browns may not continue with the show anymore. However, cancellation of "Alaskan Bush People" may be unlikely. According to InTouch Weekly, they are still determined to make the Discovery show go on, particularly for financial reasons. Considering the expensive treatments that Ami has to undergo, the family needs all the financial help they can get.

Also, there were reports back in June that the family was spotted in Colorado with the show's crew, which means they have already begun filming new episodes. There are also rumors that the new season of "Alaskan Bush People" could premiere next month.

Noah Brown and his fiancee, Rhain Alisha, have also been rumored to get married in Colorado, which could be featured in the upcoming episodes. They previously announced their engagement through social media.

Meanwhile, Ami's health condition has reportedly turned for the worse recently as she continues her battle against stage 4 lung cancer. She is currently at UCLA Medical Center in Los Angeles. Her family is also staying in California as they continue to support Ami in her journey.

The latest health update on the Brown family matriarch does not look hopeful as her latest diagnosis revealed that she now only has a three percent chance of survival.
