Ali Fedotowsky's Boyfriend at Red Carpet Premiere: 'I'm Very Proud of Her' (VIDEO)

Former "Bachelorette" star Ali Fedotowsky is now in a relationship with longtime friend Kevin Manno.

The former "Bachelorette" star, who appeared on the sixth season of the romance reality series, was first seen on a date with Kevin Manno in May. On the reality series, Fedotowsky had become engaged to Robert Martinez. The couple moved in together but split after an 18-month engagement.

Fedotowsky arrived on Wednesday night at the premiere of "Blue Jasmine"- a new Woody Allen film also starring Hollywood A-listers Cate Blanchett and Alec Baldwin- with Manno. She told reporters that she was hoping not to be recognized.

"I was hoping nobody would [recognize me] because I didn't want to be the Bachelorette girl," she told Us Weekly at the L.A. premiere on Wednesday, July 24. "I wanted them to think of me as someone who was an actor, not even like an actress, but like a girl who has never had a role and it's her first role."

Manno said he was proud of his girlfriend and excited to be a part of her big moment.

"I'm very proud of her. This is insane," Manno said. "She says it's surreal and it's just as surreal for me. Like, what are we doing here? I'm not going to believe it until I see it."

In a second interview, Manno explained that he and Ali were introduced through a producer on the former Bachelorette star's travel show, "1st Look."

"We just met and we became friends," Manno, who hosts Abby's Ultimate Dance Competition on Lifetime, told E! News.

"We were friends when she got the call," he added. "I thought she was lying."

The couple has not stepped out in public before, but Fedotowsky shared that she thought her red carpet debut would be a good moment to choose.

"This is such a cool moment in my life and for us together, so this just made so much sense," Fedotowsky told E!
