All CWM churches share in mission

Council for World Mission organized CWM missionary placements and training so that everyone can share something in mission, said CWM.

CWM's personnel unit wanted every church to get involved in sending two missionaries, which makes a total of 62 missionaries in CWM. Sylvia Coombs, a personnel unit senior programme assistant, said "we give, because God gave, and because we are invited to by Jesus."

The unit organized both long-term and short-term missionay placements up to two years. Also it organized leaders to learn about another culture through ClergyXchange, in which ministers from different churches can change places for eight weeks and experience different culture.
