Speaking to IGN, Kesler confirmed about the revival of "Allison Road." He told the outlet that many people were very supportive of the game. As for reviving the game, he admitted to taking a step back and reevaluating where he is going with it.

Kesler adds that he first started making some changes to the story of "Allison Road" and that's how its revival stated. The game after all was his personal project initially and so he is confident that he can develop it by himself although he may ask for help for other features in the game.

"For our gameplay trailer, I did all the modeling, texturing, shaders, lighting, etc., and thankfully a lot of the mechanics are already implemented from the previous development phase, so I can comfortably take the game forward by myself," Kesler told the outlet.

'Allison Road' Kickstarter Campaign, Cancellation

It was never fully explained why "Allison Road" was cancelled back in June. The game was supported by a crowdfunding campaign on Kickstarter.

Digital Trends noted that the game was on its way to become sufficiently funded but an unexplained falling out with developing team Lilith and Team17 had it canceled. In Kesler's interview with IGN, he never really explained why the collaboration ended. The former partners apparently separated amicably and dropped the game last summer.

'Allison Road' Release Date, Updates, Prototype Gameplay

Many have been saying that indie first-person survival horror game, "Allison Road" is apparently the successor of Konami's cancelled "Silent Hills." According to the official website of "Allison Road," the game is aiming for a release date by the end of the third quarter of 2016.

However, Kesler recently said that there is no official release date for "Allison Road" since its split with its publishing partner. Additionally, the game is playable by PC but it might be released for PlayStation and Xbox but there is no confirmed news yet.
