Amanda Bynes' Tattoo Fades, Actress Undergoing Laser Treatments?

Amanda Bynes appears to be in the process of removing a tattoo after the actress was spotted out displaying the fading ink.

The tattoo of wings in question lies on Bynes' right inner forearm. The former Nickelodeon star was photographed near Los Angeles as she left a workout session when she debuted the fading ink, according to the Daily Mail.

Bynes is not the first celebrity to regret getting inked. Last year, Heidi Klum sought treatments to remove her ex-husband Seal's name from her arm following their 2011 divorce.

"She's been through a few treatments," said a source close to the model, according to People magazine. However, the ink referring to Klum's children will stay put.

"The stars with her children's initials will stay intact," the insider added. Angelina Jolie, Johnny Depp, Megan Fox and Kelly Osbourne have also had tattoos removed.

Meanwhile, in removing the tattoo, Bynes could be making more effort to leave her troubled past behind her; she was released from a mental health rehab facility in December. The actress had several brushes with the law before she was placed under involuntary psychiatric hold back in August. She was later diagnosed with schizophrenia.

Further proving that she is turning her life around, the 27-year-old star is due to begin classes at the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in Orange County, Calif., according to the New York Daily News.

Of late, Bynes has made several public appearances out and about, including daily trips to the 24 Hour Fitness near her parents' Thousand Oaks home.

"She wanted to focus on her health and getting her body back in shape," said fitness retreat owner Austan Torson after Bynes visited earlier this month, according to People.com. "Her man goal was to lose 5 pounds, and she did."

The actress' latest behavior is a far cry from just months ago during Twitter tirades and bizarre "selfies" wearing a long wigs in public.
