Actress Amanda Seyfried has no desire to be like some of her fast-living young colleagues who've reached stardom. The actress spoke out against the image of promiscuity that many in Hollywood seemingly embrace.

"I'm terrified of being promiscuous," the "Mama Mia!" star told Glamour magazine during an interview for their March issue. "I don't like the feeling you get when it's not something that you truly want to do, and I hate the emotional abuse you give yourself afterward."

Although Seyfried will portray the infamous 1970s porn star Linda Lovelace opposite Sarah Jessica Parker in an upcoming biopic, her dignity is not something she's willing to give up, even amid peer pressure.

"It's just uncomfortable when you're with somebody and you're like, 'I don't really know if I'm even comfortable with this. Why did I?' Eww!'" Seyfried added. "I think dating can come without sex."

Seyfried, who has been linked to actors Alexander Skarsgård and Ryan Phillippe, admitted that her ex-boyfriend, actor Dominic Cooper, was the last man she's ever been in love with. Although the pair split in 2010, Seyfried has not ruled out a reunion or having children with the British actor, 33.

"He was my last real boyfriend. We still joke about having kids, like, 'If it doesn't work out with other people, we might as well just have a child,'" Seyfried said. "And there's a part of that that feels … possible."

"I feel like the next person I commit to, that's going to be the guy who I'm going to have kids with. That's in my crazy female brain. So that's why I'm like, 'I can't commit,'" Seyfried told Glamour, adding that she thinks about having children "all the time."

The star isn't hung up on dating fellow celebrities, however.

"You learn very quickly what people are so enamored with, and it's not necessarily me," Seyfried said when asked if it was hard to date non-celebs after her split from Cooper (Seyfried was later linked to real estate exec Andrew Joblon).

"You have to be careful whom you date," Seyfried told Glamour.
