'Amazing Spider-Man 2' Sequel: Sinister Six Movie to Feature the 'Best Line-Up of Villains'

The Amazing Spider-Man 2 sequel known as the "Sinister Six" will not feature the classic line-up of the hero's rogue gallery.

Instead, the creators of the film will mesh together the best most exciting six villains to face off against the hero on the big screen.

Marvel's Ari Arad and Sinister Six producer Matt Tolmach recently discussed the film with IGN.com. Arad feels the need to draw from different eras of Spider-Man in order to create the Sinister Six team that will translate best to the big screen. He told the site not to expect the original or classic line-up from the comics.

The Amazing Spider-Man 2 opens in theaters on May 2 in the U.S. Sinister Six could be released as early as 2015.
