'American Horror Story: Hotel' Casting Rumors: IMDb User Shares Character Breakdown Theories
Production on FX's highly anticipated "American Horror Story: Hotel" is reported to begin in Los Angeles this summer and is said to air its premiere episode this October. However, one IMDb user claims to already have some knowledge on who will appear in the said horror thriller TV show and for what role they will play on.
A report from Collider cited user acrazey57 sharing a character breakdown, which as the site noted, "isn't the real deal" but is worth noting.
As stated in the rumored character roster, Evan Peters, who appears since the beginning of the FX anthology would return as a "mysterios young man that hangs around the hotel and dark alley ways."

There's also Sara Paulson who is said to play the role of Janis Joplin, "a rock-star who checks into the hotel, unaware of the terrifying events that await her."
The Emmy winner Kathy Bates will also return as an agent of Paulson's character. Finn Wittrock is also said to play the part of a "happily engaged man" named Chap Newton. "Hotel" will also see the addition of Michelle Pfeiffer in the list as Martina McBride: the establishment's "previous owner."
Lily Rabe, meanwhile, will play as Annabelle Evergreen, the Hotel's current owner "who is slowly losing her sanity, thanks to the supernatural events that occur there." Her "supportive and loving husband," Joshua, will be played by Alexander Skarsgard.
Other interesting characters like Lolita Jones, a "jazz singer who regularly performs at the bar of the Hotel" will be played by Angela Bassett. She will be joined by another AHS long-time cast member Denis O'Hare as Leo Maxwell, "a bartender" and a "very close friend of Lolita."
The newcomer Lady Gaga will take on the role of Elisa Starr, "a popular lounge singer, who is pitted against Lolita and is always competing with her for popularity."
Among others, there's Matt Bomer as Terry Castro, a bellboy; Tammy Blanchard as Theresa Faulker, "the head maid;" Frances Conroy as Maude Madelyn, a Marilyn Monroe impersonator; Cheyenne Jackson as Thomas Seabras, a rumor-monger.
Grace Gummer, meanwhile, will play as Emma Lam, a maid; Wes Bentley as Father Dominic Deon, a "happy-go-lucky" religious leader; Donald Sutherland as Father Abner Gates, a priest wanting to cleanse the Hotel "of its impurities and bad spirits;" Steven Weber as Ray Ottoman, an inspector; Chloe Sevigny as Lois Deon, a homemaker with a dark past; Michael Chiklis as Dr. Nelson Brackett, a jobless scientist; and Christine Estabrook as Abigail White, the hotel's realtor.
FX is still yet to release an official rundown on the cast and characters in the coming months.
