'American Horror Story' Season 6 May Feature Ashley Rickards and Jessica Lange

"American Horror Story" season 6 may feature returning actresses Ashley Rickards and Jessica Lange, based on hints given by one of the creators of the series.

While "American Horror Story" is still not done with its fifth season, actors who appeared in previous seasons are already looking to return for season 6. Ashley Rickards, who was part of season 1 titled "Murder house," said she wants to return to the show, according to Fashion & Style.

"I hope that [my statement] ends up on a Google Alert with Ryan [Murphy] and Brad [Falchuk]," Rickards told Hollywood Life in an interview. "Because I am dying to go back on the show. I love that show."

Rickards also commended Lady Gaga's stellar portrayal of her role as The Countess. She said the pop singer is the perfect person to play the super human character, the report relays.

Since co-creator Ryan Murphy had previously teased the return of Jessica Lange, fans could get to see her again in season 6, Movie Pilot reports.

Emma Roberts, who appeared in the third and fourth season, was supposed to appear in the current installment. Unfortunately, her tight schedule did not cooperate with the plan, so she has been slated to appear in season 6 for an "amazing and devilish" act, the report adds.

As for the plot of the upcoming season, various speculations have come up including those involving aliens, a summer camp setting in the woods, and an apocalypse. While nothing about the story has been confirmed yet, it is worth noting that Murphy had mentioned something about airing two seasons in 2016. One will be aired in spring and the next in the fall, the report details.

"American Horror Story" season 5 airs Wednesdays at 10 p.m. on FX. There is still no word on the exact premiere date of season 6, but more information are expected to be revealed next year.
