Meanwhile Phillips performed Ben E. King's "Stand By Me", Billy Joel's "Movin' Out", and an original "Home."

Both have won the hearts of Americans as they took the stage week after week throughout the season. But crunch time is here, so who will America choose?

Powerhouse vocalist in a "tiny body" Sanchez shared backstage on Tuesday night, "Of course we all want to win, but it gets to a point where nobody really makes it this far. I love that I'm with [Phillip] in the top two. It's amazing. He's goofy and he's funny and he is an amazing artist and an amazing person overall."

"We got to the point that whatever happens, happens," Phillips, the crooner who has captivated the female audience said. "We are two completely different artists and we wish each other the best with both of our careers."
