American Idol winner Scotty McCreery has released the music video to his single “I Love You This Big” online Monday night.

“I Love You This Big” hit number one on iTunes in May. The music video features the 17-year-old Southern Baptist singer in a Los Angeles park as day turns into night.

“We found this park that had a little country feel to it and it all worked out,” said McCreery, according to the Hollywood Reporter.

The video premieres on-air on Country Music Television (CMT), CMT Pure, and Great American Country (GAC) on Tuesday. CMT will provide an extended 15-minute special on the new video including behind-the-scenes footage from the video shoot.

GAC is planning a special program for McCreery scheduled to premier in the fall, titled “Introducing: Scotty McCreery.”

The youngest male “Idol” winner in the show’s history, record-breaking McCreery openly discussed his faith and reliance on God during the competition. Always donning a cross necklace, the singer told the audience when he won, “I’ve got to thank the Lord first, He got me here.”

McCreery, who is currently on the “American Idol Live Tour” through September, released his video just hours before “Idol” former opponent Lauren Alaina debuted a clip for her new single “Like My Mother Does.”

The day after winning “American Idol,” McCreery shared his feelings about Alaina’s song, “My thought was that [Lauren] wrapped it up when she sang that momma song, it’s one of the most beautiful songs I’ve heard.”

Alaina, also a country singer, was runner-up to McCreery during the show. The close race brought the two artists together. McCreery said, “Lauren, she’s sweet. She’s been supporting me and I’ve been supporting her through this whole process. We’re really close friends and we both came out winners last night.”

Starting Tuesday, McCreery’s website is offering fans an exclusive album pre-order package with the full-length debut album, an 8 by 10 photo, a personalized poster, and an instant download of his “I Love You This Big” single.

Also, the package includes a chance to enter the CMA sweepstakes experience involving a meet-and-greet with McCreery.
