'America's Got Talent' Season 11 News: Kids Rally in Detroit to Audition

It is maybe the time for young talents to take the stage in "America's Got Talent." The well-loved reality talent show has kicked off its string of auditions in Detroit last weekend, and it appears that kids are owning the stage next year.

A promo was released for "America's Got Talent's" audition, and it showed the kids warming up for their acts. According to Enstarz, the kids range from around 6 to 12, and diverse talents will be seen. There is a girl on roller skates, while another kid is seen playing with drumsticks. There's a ballerina, a gymnast, and a little Michael Jackson impersonator.

It appears that the producers are hinting that they want another kid to win, since it's been a long time when a young talent has won. The last kid who has won the show was Bianca Ryan, who was 11 years old when she claimed the title for being the first "America's Got Talent" winner in 2006.

Meanwhile, it was reported last month that Simon Cowell will replace Howard Stern on the judges table. According to Us Magazine, the music mogul said that he and NBC, "America's Got Talent's" network, have been talking about him hosting on the show for a few years now. The discussion was put on hold about five years ago after the talks did not work out between him and NBC. "This year ... everything worked. So it was perfect," Cowell said.

The other judges of the show are Heidi Klum, Mel B., and Howie Mendel. The three judges, however, have not yet been confirmed if they'll be returning for the show's 11th season. The show is hosted by Nick Cannon.

The show is currently going around the country for its auditions, and the next stop will be in New York. "America's Got Talent" will also hold auditions in Phoenix, Salt Lake City, Las Vegas, San Jose, San Diego, Kansas City, Los Angeles, Atlanta, Orlando, and Dallas.

"America's Got Talent" will return summer next year on NBC.
