Andrew Bynum Agrees to Sign with Cavaliers after Meeting with Mavericks
Andrew Bynum officially agreed to a two-year incentive-laden deal with the Cleveland Cavaliers that will guarantee him $6 million of a possible $24.5 million deal.
Any deal the 25-year-old was going to sign would be loaded with precautions due to his injury history, especially with him missing all of last season.
More money will kick in depending on how many games and minutes he plays with an option for $12.5 for next year.

"Cavs, remember, would only offer one-year deal If they decide to proceed on Bynum. But they can offer richest one-year deal out there," Tweeted Marc Stein of ESPN in the initial report on Monday. "Cavs don't want to do anything to cut into 2014 cap space. So one-year deal is as far as they'll go. Mavs remain Bynum's other prime suitor."
According to Yahoo, the Mavericks never even made an offer after a full day of examinations and tests.
The 25-year-old was involved in a huge four-team trade that saw him leave the Los Angeles Lakers and arrive in Philadelphia to play for the 76ers. However, a preseason knee injury kept him from playing the entire season, ending up as a bust for the team as they traded key franchise players and Dwight Howard go from the Orlando Magic to the Lakers.
Bynum had his best season in the 2011-2012 season where he posted 18.7 points per game and 11.8 rebounds, putting him up there among the league's best Centers.
Aside from Dallas and Cleveland, the Atlanta Hawks were interested in the big man.
Bynum has career averages of 11.7 points per game, 7.8 rebounds, 1.6 blocks, and 26 minutes per game.
