Android 4.2.2, JellyBean to be Available on Verizon's HTC One Model
The Android 4.2.2, JellyBean update for Verizon's HTC One smartphone will be available when the device launches next month.
The handset has not yet been released for Big Red, however, Phandroid recently obtained information pointing to the latest version of the software running on the smartphone.
The HTC One is expected to debut around the same time as the Moto X Phone which is currently rumored to be running Android 4.3. However, the carrier has not confirmed either release at this time. Android 4.3 will be introduced later today during a Google event in San Francisco.

Details on the software were revealed when a Nexus 4 model running the new software surfaced on the Internet earlier this month.
The new build will bring several improvements to the Android experience that includes an updated Camera system, better Wi-Fi, a new dialer and much more.
The full circle settings bar on the camera has been replaced with a semi-circle style bar along with the addition of a countdown timer. This gives the user the ability to take pictures using the volume buttons. The flipping of the camera screen to change the screen orientation has also been removed. It has been replaced by the simple flipping of the buttons on the screen.
An auto-complete T9 dialer has been added to the phone application on the Nexus 4. Now the app will be able to offer suggestions based on the user's contacts when they begin dialing a number.
Android 4.3 also adds Bluetooth Low Energy which reduces the amount of battery power being consumed while connecting to other devices using the feature. AVCRP 1.3 is another feature that was added that improves audio streaming and brings 2-way communication and full track metadata to Android.
There are a few new developer settings and Google Keep and Hangouts have been added as system apps. Animations have been improved and applications run faster and smoother. GPU rendering has also gotten a lot faster while simultaneously conserving battery power.
