The Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie update will only roll out on five devices that are currently available, according to a new report.

SamMobile received information on Google's plans for update rollouts. The site revealed that Android 5.0 will only be issued to five devices, but did not clarify which ones.

Android 4.2.2 will also be rolling out to Samsung devices including the Galaxy S2 and Galaxy Note. This is said to be the last official update for them.

Unwiredview published a report which listed what Samsung devices would get Android 5.0 at some point. That list included the Galaxy S4, S3, S2, Galaxy Note 8 3G, LTE, Wi-Fi, Galaxy Note 2, and the Galaxy Note 10.1.

Other devices expected to receive Android 4.2 include the Galaxy S3 Mini, Galaxy S2, Galaxy Grand, Galaxy Grand Duos, Galaxy Young, Galaxy Young Duos, Galaxy Fame, Galaxy Premier, Galaxy Express, Galaxy Xcover 2, Galaxy Note, Galaxy Ace 2, Galaxy Beam and Galaxy S Advance.

Android 5.0, Key Lime Pie could be unveiled as early as May as that is when Google I/O will take place.

The event will officially begin on May 15 and end on May 17 and will be held in San Francisco. Last year's Google I/O took place in June, and also opened registration in March. Google seems to have pushed it forward in order to get a head start on the competition.

The event is set to take place in San Francisco's Moscone Center West.

At last year's conference, the company introduced its new Google Nexus 7 tablet. Google also unveiled its new Android 4.1, Jelly Bean OS at the event.

This year's event could be the place where Google introduces the world to the successor of the tremendously successful Nexus 7 Android tablet and the new Android 5.0, Key Lime Pie operating system.
