Angelina Jolie, Brad Pitt Trying for Baby? Couple 'Crossing Their Fingers'

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are reportedly preparing to expand their brood with a new report claiming the couple wants at least two more children.

The mother of six, who shares three biological and three adopted children with Pitt, reportedly wants one more biological child and one adopted baby girl from Syria. The 37-year-old actress, who recently underwent a double mastectomy, was reportedly inspired to have more children after a visiting Syrian refugees in the Middle East in recent days.

"Angie and Brad's attitude towards kids is the more the better and that once you have several a few more makes no difference," a source told The Sun UK.

"She has been particularly touched by the situation in Syria and wants to adopt a child from Jordan to do her bit to help," the source continued adding "The publicity would help draw the world's attention to what's going on there."

Jolie and Pitt, who got engaged in 2012, are already parents to Maddox, age 11, Pax, 9, Zahara, 8, Shiloh, 6, and 4-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne.

"The twins are now four and Angie and Brad have agreed it's time for more kids. They're crossing their fingers that they'll bring their next child home soon," the source revealed.

"She is friends with Queen Rania of Jordan, so that has got to help with adopting a child. But Angie and Brad also want to have one more biological child so she is eating a diet rich in potassium," the source added.

Jolie, who has kept a low profile in Hollywood in recent years to focus on philanthropic work, has reportedly wanted to expand her family for some time.

"Angelina has been talking about having another child for years now but Brad kept putting his foot down because of their intense schedules and chaotic lifestyle," a source previously told Star magazine.

The couple, who has been together for eight years, confirmed their engagement in April 2012 and while they are yet to reveal their wedding date, reports claim that they may be walking down the aisle in coming months.
