Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are poised to expand their rapidly growing family: the actress is pregnant with twins, according to reports.

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have been a major topic of discussion lately, because of their talks that they may get married soon. However, this newest addition- children number seven and eight for the family- could cement the two movie stars together even sooner than they thought.

"They were overjoyed at how quickly Angie became pregnant this time," a source told the magazine. "They said that it showed that this pregnancy was 'meant to be.'"

Still, the pregnancy came as a surprise- especially when the Hollywood stars found out they were having two more children, not one.

"Angelina's latest ultrasound revealed there were two heartbeats," the unnamed source told OK! "They were totally shocked!"

Fortunately for Brangelina, they know how to handle twins. Their first set of twins, Knox and Vivienne, are three, while Shiloh is five, Zahara, seven, Pax is eight, and Maddox is the eldest, at 10.

The source claims that only Maddox knows about the pregnancy, though, because only the eldest child is mature enough to handle the news in the event something goes wrong.

"They've decided to wait on the other kids until Angie's a bit further into her pregnancy- they don't want to get the younger ones all excited in case there are any hiccups along the way," revealed the confidante.

The news did prompt young Maddox to ask if the couple would now "get married," the insider said.

Marriage has certainly been on the agenda for Pitt and Jolie, with Pitt telling CBS "we will [get married] someday, we will. It's a great idea."

Angelina, though, tends to think the marriage talk was "blown out of proportion," she told The Hollywood Reporter.

As for the alleged pregnancy, although it certainly seems possible, publications have jumped the gun in the past concerning celebrities' private lives.

Just last week, rumors that Jennifer Aniston was pregnant were dashed down, and earlier this week, rumors of Snooki's pregnancy were found false.
