The series will feature the said club talking about anime in many different locations like their own club room, the hot springs, and Akihabara. It is based on the 2015–2016 short-form anime series, "Anime-Gatari," which served as brief intermission in-between Toho Cinema's array of animated films.

GARNiDELiA will reportedly be performing the opening theme titled, "Aikotoba," which will also serve as the Japanese pop rock duo's eighth single and is scheduled to be released on Nov. 1.

On the other hand, the ending theme, titled "Good Luck Lilac," will be sung by the voice actresses Kaede Hondo, Sayaka Senbongi, and Hisako Tojo, who did the voices of Minoa, Arisu, and Miko, respectively.

On Sunday, Oct. 1, a week before the official broadcast, a special program will be aired and titled "Episode 0." This special will feature clips from the series as it was represented at the CCG Expo that was held in China earlier this year and at the Machi Asobi anime event in Tokushima, Japan.

"Anime-Gataris" premieres on Sunday, Oct. 8, at 10 p.m. JST on Tokyo MX. It will also be aired on BS Fuji starting on Wednesday, Oct. 11, at midnight JST and on AT-X on Friday, Oct. 13, at 10:30 p.m. JST. Special programs may cause broadcast date and time to change without prior notice.
