A 10-year-old girl from Henderson, Nev., has left some people wondering if she has the Benjamin Button disease after she powered through a soulful rendition of traditional folk song, "The House of the Rising Sun," on the popular TV show "America's Got Talent."

In a video of the performance posted on YouTube on Tuesday, the girl, Anna Christine, though declaring she is nervous in her pre-performance interview, exhibits poise well beyond that of your typical 10-year-old.

"I spend so much time with my piano and I feel like I can go 'there' if I'm sad or if I'm worried about something," Christine muses in the run-up to her performance.

When show host Nick Cannon asks her how she deals with anxiety, she tells him: "Take deep breaths and relax," while moving her arms slowly like a bird flapping its wings.

"Is that deep breaths?" asked Canon as he tries to mimic her movements. "Wave the bird," she replies before admitting her true feelings in a segue.

"I am feeling pretty nervous. I'm kinda getting really overwhelmed like I'm kinda shaky talking right now 'cause I'm just like anything could happen."

She then goes on to talk about her mother and their special relationship.

"My biggest supporter is probably my mom. Like my piano she's always been there and she always will be and I don't have to worry about anything as long as I'm with her," explains the young girl shortly before she is seen walking out on the stage.

The audience gives her a welcoming cheer show judge Howard greets her and asks her if she is nervous.

"Kinda," she replies.

"You're in good hands, I am like the Mr. Rogers of the show. I'm the judge that's good with kids," Stern assures her to the amusement of the audience.

"Sure," replies Christine.

As soon as the young performer sits behind a piano provided on the stage, she begins to belt the song and leave the audience with mouths gaped and eyes sparkled in surprise. By the end of her soaring performance, the audience is lifted to its feet and cheering wildly.

"You should be proud, look at all those people standing on their feet for your daughter," said Cannon to the girl's mother who was brought to tears in seeing her daughter's success.

Since Tuesday, the video has been viewed more than half a million times and most of the comments have focused on her maturity.

"She must have the Benjamin Button syndrome....," wrote one commenter on the video under the username, CeZipp.

"She is very special human being, her mannerisms are some of the best I've ever seen over all possible ages! Wow I would love to meet her! There are no words to describe how fantastic this girl is," wrote Josh Britt.
