Anna Kendrick made a surprising Twitter "confession" on Monday after cracking a joke about watching Ryan Gosling in his new film.

Both an actress and a singer, Kendrick may now have to add comedian to her Wikipedia profile. Kendrick has become the funny girl to follow on Twitter. While Kendrick's tweets were at a bare minimum only a year ago, since appearing in "Pitch Perfect," the actress' tweets have become far more frequent.

Her latest tweet was enough to get the world of Twitter abuzz, after commenting on a film that featured Ryan Gosling.

"Ugh - NEVER going to a Ryan Gosling movie in a theater again," the actress said, adding that someone had deemed her private moment in the back row watching the actor as "inappropriate."

Fans of the "Twilight Saga" actress found the tweet hilarious, and responded to the actress by telling her that she was "amazing" and "so funny."

Nearly 30,000 people retweeted the comment. Kendrick had been referring to Goslin's latest film, "Gangster Squad." The film is based around two determined police officers who are attempting to take down a mobster. The action-packed film has received mediocre reviews.

"They should put this in the trailers for Gangster Squad to get people to watch," one fan wrote in response to Kendrick's tweet. "Best testimonial yet."

Kendrick of course, may have been overstating her attraction to Gosling. She had been dating Edgar Wright since 2009. Wright is the director of "Scott Pilgrim vs. the World." Kendrick had a role in the film.

Since posting the tweet, the actress has built her Twitter following to over half a million.
