Apollo Nida Says T.I. Humiliated Him in Latest Ploy

Apollo Nida may have retracted some of his statements about rapper T.I., but now he is saying that the rapper disrespected him.

Nida, attorney Phaedra Parks' husband on "Real Housewives of Atlanta," made headlines earlier this year for allegedly creating fake businesses, false bank accounts and using stolen checks while defrauding automotive lenders, according to Access Atlanta. Nida, the 35-year-old fitness guru and reality television personality, has officially admitted to being involved in conspiracy to commit mail, wire, and bank fraud worth $2.3 million across 11 states.

After Twitter users referred to him as a "government snitch" and "informant," the TV personality compared his situation to that of rapper T.I. The rapper born Clifford Harris confronted Nida at the S2S Magazine Ladies Night event, which prompted a public apology.

However Nida felt disrespected after being confronted by the rapper in an ordeal that was taped and released publicly.

"Don't nobody really know me. You just don't run up on a person and just demand anything," Nida said on the "Ryan Cameron Morning Show" recently. "One thing you can demand is respect when it's given. I felt really disrespected at that situation."

While Nida insists he never meant to offend T.I., he also felt humiliated by the rapper's approach.

"I really played that situation real humble. I was humiliated by it," Nida explained. "I didn't even know the cameras were rolling. That is not how men handle the situation."

Nida suggested that the rapper could have been using the situation to his advantage.

"Tip knows how to get in contact with me," he insisted. "If this was an issue, you just don't make it an issue in public and sit there and try to make it a ploy."

The 33-year-old rapper previously told radio station V103 personality Big Tigga about why he decided to confront Nida.

"To tell the truth on me then that's fine and he said he didn't say it so, cool," Harris said on V103. "Anybody got something to say about me man, make sure it's the truth and if it ain't the truth just be ready to see me."
