Archbishop Rowan Williams on BBC TV and Radio

The new Archbishop, Rowan Williams, makes his first public speech since taking office as the 104th Archbishop of Canterbury on Thursday 19th December 2002 when he delivers the Richard Dimbleby Lecture on BBC1 at 10.35pm GMT. He will argue the case for morality and religion in the market driven world.

The Archbishop is also the guest on Desert Island Discs on Sunday 22nd December at 11:15am GMT on BBC Radio 4, (repeated on Friday 27th at 9am). This programme may be heard over the internet from the Radio 4 live feed at www.bbc.co.uk/radio4/.
