Are Mimi Faust and Nikko Smith Over?

Despite the last few episodes of "Love and Hip Hop: Atlanta," there is a distinct possibility that Mimi Faust and Nikko Smith are officially over.

Rumors of an impending breakup surfaced when Faust suspected that Smith might have leaked their sex tape. Adding more damage to the situation was when Smith admitted that he was married, and even blamed Faust, saying that she should have asked him about it outright in the first place.

The season finale of "Love and Hip Hop: Atlanta" saw Faust in tears as she argued with Smith over his lies, and telling him that she was over him, to which he retorted, "You'll never be over me."

In a recent interview with Sister 2 Sister magazine, Faust appears to have dropped some hints that she has split up from Smith for good. When asked if she thinks he may have pursued her with the intent to later exploit their relationship, she denied it.

"I don't think he went into it to do that. I don't think that was his intention from the start. I've known Nikko for years. We dated back in the past. So, when I met back up with him in 2012, we started dating again. I just think things happen. I don't think when I saw him again in L.A., he thought, 'This is what I'm going to do.' I don't believe that at all," she said.

It also appeared as if Faust was putting the past behind her and the reality star has gleaned some wisdom from her choices and bad experiences. She shared that she learned to trust herself and her instincts more.

"Listen to yourself moreso than your friends or your parents. Listen to yourself," sje said. "Yourself will never, ever steer you wrong. There were times when myself told me, 'Something's not right about the situation,' and I ignored it."
