Arizona Cardinals vs St Louis Rams will pit two teams together from the NFC West that got left behind last season. Both teams will be desperate to win this Week 1 game as the NFL 2013 regular season gets underway today, and hope that a good result can kick-start their season towards better things. The game will start at 4.25 p.m. ET and can be watched online through live stream (Details below).
These two teams have to a large extent played second fiddle to the San Francisco 49ers and the Seattle Seahawks – both of whom have been under the media spotlight throughout the offseason. That has kept the Cardinals and the Rams under the radar, and both will be hoping to explode onto the scene this season and surprise many.
Looking on paper the 49ers and Seahawks clearly have the edge but these teams do pose some threat and if they can punch above their weight this season both could be with a chance – the NFC West is by no means guaranteed to go to the 49ers or the Seahawks.
Both the Cardinals and the Rams have very strong offenses that are often overlooked, however, they are talented and on their day can cause serious problems for opposition defenses. If they can be consistent then both teams could go on good runs this season.
Defensive wise also, both teams are capable of putting on some big plays, and can create turnovers on a regular basis. If they can again be consistent and keep things tight at pivotal points in games then they could sneak close wins where things are 50-50.
Arizona Cardinals vs St Louis Rams will start at 4.25 p.m. ET from the Edward Jones Dome, St. Louis. The game will be televised on the Fox network, and can also be watched online through live stream by clicking here.
