Arnold Schwarzenegger Posts on Twitter that Trump Will Not Get His Vote
Celebrities took to social media against Trump's leaked audio.
On a Twitter post last Saturday, former California state governor and Hollywood action star Arnold Schwarzenegger announced to the public that he is not voting Donald Trump.
"For the first time since becoming a citizen on 1983, I will not vote for the Republican candidate," says Schwarzenegger, joining the growing list of Hollywood stars calling out Trump to drop out of the presidential race.

Despite being a member of the same party and a staunch Republican supporter, Schwarzenegger stands by his decision not to vote for Trump, his party's presidential race front-runner. Although the Hollywood actor did not state his reason for his decision, nor did he say anything about the controversial audio of Trump's lewd remarks with Billy Bush, his 2003 public statement was rehashed in social media about his alleged lascivious conduct where six females surfaced and pointed fingers at him.

On October 2003, Republican gubernatorial front-runner for the state of California Arnold Schwarzenegger's name was dragged into a controversy just days before the election recall. After first denying the allegations, he issued a public statement owning up and taking resposibility to the sexual misonduct during his public rally at San Bernardino Elementary school, only to later on say that most of it was not true.
Schwarzenegger a hypocrite?
The actor faced criticisms and was labeled a hypocrite in social media over his denouncement of Trump following the scandalous issue of Trump's leaked audio recording with Billy Bush, although he did not say that it was because of the current scandal Trump is facing right now. The said issue garnered several scathing and negative reactions from high profiled personalities from both political and entertainment world. Actor Robert De Niro even went on to say he wanted to punch Trump's face over his crass and immoral statement towards women. Even wife Melania Trump broke her silence, "The words my husband used are unacceptable and offensive to me. This does not represent the man I know," she said in a statement released online.

Schwarzenegger's Twitter post just added stress to the already strained relationship he's got with his "friend" Trump. He once walked out and refused to answer questions about Trump during an interview by Angela Cox when he took over as the host of Celebrity Apprentice last 2015.
In the light of the scandal, Trump remains resolved to run against Democratic Party front-runner Hillary Clinton.
