'Arrow' Season 4 News, Cast, Spoilers: An 'Olicity' Engagement Will Be Happening in the Ninth Episode

"Arrow" season 4 has definitely been a dream for Oliver and Felicity shippers everywhere. With Oliver showing signs of popping the question, fans were at the edge of their seats wondering if he was indeed going to do it but were sorely disappointed when Oliver decided to back out at the last minute. However, as reported by Canadagraphs, alongside a video of the show shooting in Vancouver, it seems that Oliver will finally be summing up the courage to ask for Felicity's hand in episode 9 entitled "Dark Waters."

News is that the big moment will occur publicly while Oliver is on his campaign for Mayor of Star City. Somehow it was not unexpected that the moment will occur as Stephen Amell himslef, who plays Oliver, has already admitted before to Entertainment Tonight that the proposal was going to happen "sometime during this season." The only question was when.

Emily Bett Rickards, who portrays Felicity, was asked what she thought her character would say when the moment comes. Rickards reveals, "She'd probably be like, 'Oh my God!'" she exclaimed in her best Felicity voice. "I mean as her answer I think she'd probably be very excited. She's totally in love with him, so why wouldn't she say yes? Unless there [were] some secrets being kept…" She also laughs at the idea of how her character could be engaged when she herself isn't, as she goes "I mean, Felicity's life is so different than mine, like, there's no diamond on these fingers."

Another Smoak woman that Oliver has a good relationship with is Felicity's mother, Donna. Spoilers reveal that episode 6 will show more of the growing dynamic between Oliver and his possibly future mother-in-law. Amell shares more about his thoughts on the future scenes, "I had always imagined that Oliver, in his easygoing state, would have a dialogue with Donna Smoak, which is proven correct and leads to some funny moments but the dynamic between the two of them is excellent."

Fans of the two can expect more romance in the coming episodes as season 4 of "Arrow" airs on Wednesday nights on The CW.
