'Arrow' Season 4 Spoilers, Cast News: Mama Smoak Will Be Dating Someone

It seems like love is in the air for the Smoak girls in the latest season of "Arrow." Not only is Felicity's relationship going great with Oliver, but it will eventually lead to a proposal as confirmed during the season. Now, as for the other Smoak girl, it would be none other than Donna, Felicity's quirky mom. Her fun personality will apparently be attracting a gentleman in the show.

As to who this person could be, there isn't any news yet on who this could be, but executive producer Wendie Mericle herself already confirmed that this will be happening. She shared with Entertainment Weekly this extra tidbit about Donna, "We'll find out in future episodes that she's going to be having a romantic relationship with somebody on the show," She further added, "It's going to be fun." It can definitely be expected that it would be entertaining to watch, after all Donna's character is so enigmatic that people can't help but watch her whenever she guest stars in the show.

There are two guesses as to who this could be. First would be Damien Darhk. Albeit it would be very interesting to see how the two characters will work, if that does happen, it would be far from fun to see as Donna's life will potentially be in danger. The second potential man for Donna to date would be none other than Captain Lance. Donna is a fun loving woman, and perhaps it would be lots of laugh if the series would showcase Captain Lance adjust to her.

Furthermore, another character that will be in the spotlight will be Diggle, who's been going through a lot because of the information he's learned about his brother from Darhk. Mericle gave a little insight about this, "Diggle's really dealing with the grief and sense of loss". It is said that Diggle will have to deal with accepting what his brother has become, which isn't a very good person it seems. Mericle added, "He's grieving two losses, really — the idea of who his brother was and confirmation of why his brother was murdered. The truth is, he knows that his brother was involved in this bad, shady stuff, but he doesn't know how or when or why. He doesn't know Andy's point of view. He's never heard Andy's side of the story." Finally, the executive producer gave assurance that alongside Diggle, fans will find out more about Andy, "We'll definitely be seeing Andy coming up in future episodes and we'll get some pretty shocking answers about what happened to him."
