'Arrow' Season 4 News: New Details of 'Arrow/Flash' Crossover Episode;'The Calculator' Cast

The heroes from both hit TV series from The CW, "Arrow" and "The Flash," will once again be having a reunion in an upcoming crossover episode event.

"The Flash" will be airing the first part this coming Tuesday, December 1, at 8/9c titled "Legends of Today." The second part will be on "Arrow," in Wednesday, December 2, at 8/9c. According to the synopsis shared over at ComingSoon.net, both segments will deal with the arrival of the time-travelling DC Comics supervillain, Vandal Savage (guest star Casper Crump).

The events were triggered when the aforementioned character came to Central City to attack Kendra Saunders (Ciara Renee) and Cisco (Carlos Valdes). Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) then calls on the help of Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell) and his team to hide Kendra in Star City while he tries to determine how to defeat Vandal. But things go awry when a man with wings, Hawkman (guest star Falk Hentschel), suddenly swoops Kendra away.

TVLine, meanwhile, shared a slew of promo photos for the crossover episodes. The stills feature the members of Team Green Arrow and Team Flash having their reunion moments. But the costumed crusaders quickly get to work when Barry showed a facial sketch of their common enemy.

In one of the photos released by the network, Kendra can be seen interacting with who is supposed to be Hawkman. They are in a deep conversation and it can only be assumed that the two could be acquainted with one another. Or perhaps this could be their first time meeting each other?

In related news, Matt Webb Mitovich from TVLine reported that the fourth season of "Arrow" is yet to see a new DC Comics villain. Citing their sources, the media outlet said that the Greg Berlanti-exec produced show has booked Tom Amandes to play the criminal mastermind and technical genius, The Calculator.

Also known as Noah Kuttler, the site said that the character "uses his advanced skills in computer science and internet manipulation to blackmail Roy [Colton Haynes] out of retirement to do his bidding." This will eventually lead to an "epic battle" with Team Arrow, the site added.
