'Arrow' Season 4: The CW's New Teaser Trailer Includes First Look at Damien Darhk

"Arrow" season 4 is set to premiere this month, and The CW has once again tickled fans' interest by releasing a new trailer.

The new teaser trailer for "Arrow" gives fans a tiny peek into what they should expect in the coming fourth season. The clip also includes a first look at the villain Damien Darhk, who is played by Neal McDonough, according to IGN.

In the next installment of the superhero series, Damien Darhk will try to rule over Star City and destroy the Arrow. However, Arrow will rise up once again and decide to defend the city, Latin Post (LP) reports.

The new promo video for Arrow shows a few glimpses of the new villain that Arrow will try to defeat. Damien, the "big bad" of the new season, is not afraid of being seen by the public and will fight with Oliver (Stephen Amell).

Aside from that, executive producer Wendy Mericle revealed more details about Felicity's (Emily Rickards) response to seeing her ex-lover Rey Palmer (Brandon Routh) enter the picture once again, the report details.

Although the scene will be emotionally charged, the showrunner said Felicity will no longer be romantically attracted to Ray because she is already happy with her relationship with Oliver.

"It's more of an emotional reaction to the loss of a friend than any sort of romantic rival," LP quotes Mericle's statement. "She's very happy with Oliver when we come back in Season 4, but [she and Ray] were friends and they left on good terms…"

Another change to look forward to is Felicity's journey as the new CEO of Palmer Tech, which is owned by Ray, the report adds.

In the finale episode of "Arrow" season 3, everyone presumed Ray to be dead after a huge explosion. Starling City's name was changed to "Star City" in honor of the fallen hero. But Ray will surprise everyone by coming back during the next season.

"Arrow" will return for season 4 on Oct. 7.
