To make the task more difficult for the longtime manager is the fact that he will be without right-back Bacary Sagna who is still recovering from a foot injury.

Defender Laurent Koscielny will also be watching his team play from the touch line along with defender Andre Santos and midfielder Abou Diaby who continue to recovery from their respective injuries.

One bright bit of news for the French manager is the availability of both Theo Walcott and Lukas Podolski who will add to the Gunners attack.

This will be an interesting contest given that Arsenal have won just three of their last nine Premier League home games, while Swansea have won just two of their last 10 Premier League away games.

For Swansea and manager Michael Laudrup their task will be made a bit more difficult after Pablo Hernandez was ruled out for this match after suffering a thigh injury during the midweek win over West Brom. Jonathan de Guzman is scheduled to replace Hernandez up front and will provide a bit of pace for the Swansea attack.
