Assassin's Creed Unity Fourth Major Patch News, Details: Update Rolls Out

Ubisoft's latest offering, the Assassin's Creed: Unity, has received a constant barrage of complaints and grievances ever since it was initially launched on Nov. 11 for a number of technical issues that apparently plagued the game.

This leads the studio to release a series of patches in an effort to compensate the bugs and crashes pointed out by its players. Ubisoft even offered a free DLC pack, the Dead Kings DLC, for free as a gesture of apology to its loyal gaming fans.

For the most recent, Ubisoft has announced yet another major update for Assassin's Creed: Unity which as reported by IGN, is expected to arrive by Monday, Dec. 15.

According to the official Assassin's Creed Live Updates blog, Patch 4 will roll out across all gaming platforms. It is said that the update will "address issues with stability and performance as well as online matchmaking and connectivity (among other fixes and improvements)," according to the press release.

The website meanwhile noted that for those PC gamers whose units are running using AMD video cards, they are advised to install the latest drivers from this site (follow link) for optimal performance before applying the patch on Monday.

Ubisoft previously released Patch 3 for AC: Unity which, as reported, contains about 300 fixes that also promised to fix gameplay issues, matchmaking problems, as well as to patch up the rampant co-op and campaign mode crashes.

In comparison with the last, the game studio offered little details for this latest patch. However, several tech websites speculated that this would probably correct the remaining issues that are still found after Patch 3.
