Assemblies of God Reverend Passes Away

MONROE, LA—The Reverend Janway, ordained minister of Assemblies of God Church in Alexandria passed away on November 17, 2002, after a lengthy illness at the age of 81.

Janway served as the district superintended at the church's Alexandria office from 1976 until his 1994 under is own retirement. He was a member of the A/G Presbytery, and served on the board of regents of Southwestern Assemblies of God University, Waxahachie, Texas, and the Board of directors of Hillcrest Children's Home, Hot Springs, Arkansas.

Reverend Janway is survived by his wife of 53 years, Ollie Jenson Janway, and two sons, two daughters, Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, November 19, at Evangel Temple A/G in Monroe Louisiana.
