Asus Launches 4 Smartphones at ZenFestival, Zenfone Max the Cream of the Crop

During the ZenFestival event held in New Delhi, the Taiwanese smartphone giant Asus launched four new smartphones that show off everything from top-of-the-line flagship phones to more affordable choices.

The smartphones launched were Zenfone Selfie, Zenfone 2 Laser, Zenfone 2 Deluxe and the leader of the pack, Zenfone Max. They also launched the Asus ZenPad 8.0/7.0.All four phones are based on Android 5.0 Lollipop and feature 4G LTE support and dual-SIM (Micro-SIM) dual standby support.

The first one to be unveiled was the Zenfone Selfie which was created with 13-megapixel rear and front camera. Such camera really lives up to its name being the perfect device in capturing selfie photos. The device is also designed with a 5.5-inch Full HD display, with an octa-core 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor and storage capacity of 2GB/3GB RAM.

The ZenFone 2 Laser on the other hand has multiple variants. The first one comes with 5.5-inch Full HD display with Gorilla Glass 4, Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processors and 2GB RAM while the second has the same display but with 3GB RAM and Snapdragon 615 processor. Both variants have 13MP rear camera with laser auto-focus that can capture great photos.

The ZenFone 2 Deluxe features a 5.5-inch FHD and carries a quadcore Intel Z3580 procecssor. It also includes a 3,000 mAh battery and 13M/5MP cameras. The phone is designed with a polygonal finish which is a great option for those who are fond of geometric designs with lots of colors. The phone also supports fast charging.

The Asus ZenFone Max leads the pack of new phones headed first to India. It sports a 5.5-inch screen with Gorilla Glass 4 and a large 5,000 mAh battery that can also be used as a powerbank. Aside from that, the phone also features a 64-bit, Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor which was intended for the battery to last long. Zenfone Max will be launched in October in the Indian market first, according to Digi In.
