Atlanta Falcons vs St Louis Rams takes place on Sunday in Week 2 of the NFL 2013 regular season. There is excitement surrounding this game as the Falcons' starting wide receivers will make their home debut here, and fans are eager to get a first close-up look at the exciting pairing. The game is scheduled to start at 1 p.m. ET and can be watched online through live stream (details below).
The Falcons are coming into this game having disappointed in Week 1, losing 17-23 at New Orleans. They will be desperate to get back to winning ways today as they host the St Louis Rams.
However, there is reason to be optimistic; according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, Atlanta's two starting wide receivers Julio Jones and Roddy White will play today.
It is believed that veteran wide receiver Harry Douglas will cover for White when he is off the field. Douglas himself has of course been with the Falcons since 2008 – at that time he was taken in the third-round of that year's draft by Atlanta. Overall he has started nine games over his career and had four catches for 93 yards in Week 1's game at New Orleans. White was out last week.
The Rams meanwhile got their season off to a winning start last week, claiming a tight 27-24 win over the Arizona Cardinals. The Sam Bradford and Jared Cook duet helped pile on a few touchdowns, and they will be looking forward to trying to do the same in today's game.
Bradford completed 27 passes from 38 throws for 299 yards and two touchdowns. Where as Cook received 7 for 141 yards at an average of 20.1 yards and two touchdowns.
