Atlanta Hawks sharpshooter Kyle Korver sinks a three against the Cleveland Cavaliers in Game Two of the Eastern Conference Finals.

An NBA preseason match between the Atlanta Hawks and the Orlando Magic will be held at Amway Center this Sunday, October 16, 2016 at 6:00 p.m.

Hawks Pre-season Performance

The Atlanta Hawks currently has a 2-2 preseason standing. The team has won against the Memphis Grizzlies and Cleveland Cavaliers, while losing to the San Antonio Spurs and the Detroit Pistons.

In their first preseason game, the Hawks played against the Grizzlies on Thursday, October 6, at the FedEx Forum. They won in convincing fashion during that game, with a score of 104-83. 7'3" Center Walter Tavares led all Hawks scorers with 15 in that game.

In the second game, the Hawks lost to the Spurs on Saturday, October 8, in a game played at the AT&T Center. The final score was 102-91. On Monday, October 10, the Hawks had a win against the Cleveland Cavaliers in their third pre-season game held at Philips Arena. The Hawks won, 99-93.

Finally, the Detroit Pistons won against the Hawks on Thursday, October 13, also held at Philips Arena. The final score was 99-94.

Magic Pre-season Performance

The Orlando Magic has a 1-3 standing so far during the pre-season. They won their most recent game against the Indiana Pacers; a game played on Friday, October 14 at the Amway Center, with a score of 114-106. But the team lost their first three games against the Grizzlies, Cavaliers, and Spurs.

The Magic played against the Memphis Grizzlies on Monday, October 3 at the FedEx Forum. Orlando lost with a final score of 102-97. Their second preseason game was against the defending NBA champions, the Cleveland Cavaliers, on Wednesday, October 5, at the Quicken Loans Arena. The final score was 117-102 in a losing effort for the Magic.

The Magic's third preseason game was a loss against the San Antonio Spurs last Wednesday, October 12 at the Amway center. The final score was 95-89.

Pre-season Schedules

After playing against Orlando, the Atlanta Hawks have two more preseason games before the 2016-17 NBA Regular season begins. On Tuesday, October 18, 7:30 p.m,, the Hawks will play against the New Orleans Pelicans at the Philips Arena. On Thursday, October 20, 8:00 p.m., they will face the Chicago Bulls at Century Link Center Omaha.

The Orlando Magic will also have two more preseason games after this Sunday's match. On Tuesday, October 18, 7:30 p.m,, they will face the Miami Heat at the American Airlines Arena. On Thursday, October 20, 7:00 p.m., their last pre-season match will be against the New Orleans Pelicans, to be played at the Amway Center.
