Avalon released its “Greatest Hits” album on Tuesday, showcasing 15 songs that helped establish them as one of Christian music’s premier vocal groups.

Also included in Avalon: The Greatest Hits is a new song, “Still My God,” which is currently vying for adds on Christian AC/Inspo radio.

“While some of the faces and sounds of Avalon have changed, one thing has never changed – our desire to sing about Jesus Christ and the difference He has made in our lives,” says Avalon’s Janna Long.

Thirteen years ago, Avalon came on to the scene with the mission to make quality music and to openly share the Gospel through their songs.

“That is truly the essence of this group,” says Long. “Songs that have inspired, encouraged and strengthened others in the family of God, have always been what we wanted to be about. Our listeners and fans have also carried us through these years, and we are forever indebted to them all.”

To date, the quartet has released 12 projects, including one live concert DVD, and sold more than three million albums. Avalon has also charted 20 No. 1 singles, received multiple RIAA-certified Gold records, and won an American Music Award plus numerous Dove Awards.

And the “Greatest Hits” album “is a tribute to the group’s extraordinary career thus far,” Byars adds, “and an item that every Avalon fan will want to have for their collection.”
