'Avengers 2 Age of Ultron' Release Date, Rumors: New Female Hero Cameo and The Vision's Extraordinary Entrance Revealed

Upcoming Marvel movie "The Avengers: Age of Ultron" is entering into its post-production stage as writer and director Joss Whedon announced on his Twitter and more speculations of new characters for the next installment came up.

First off, Devin Faraci of Bad A-- Digest revealed in an article about a possible female cameo.

"I have information about multiple drafts of Avengers: Age of Ultron, and all feature a cameo by a character the script calls Ms. Marvel (nothing else, including a civilian name or basic look, is specified)," the blog reports.

"It's a cameo, so it could change at any time, but the character is planned for the Marvel Cinematic Universe. This is a fact."

Considering the truth of the claims, director Whedon already revealed in an interview with HeyUGuys about the female characters that will play big roles in the forthcoming film.

There's already Black Widow (played by Scarlett Johansson), Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen), and S.H.I.E.L.D agent Maria Hill.

MStarz.com purportedly said how the character of Carol Danvers (Ms.Marvel) could really fit in a fourth slot.
Whedon, meanwhile, remained secretive of who will it be but said that it's one of his favorites.

In the meantime, Paul Bettany, the voice behind Tony Stark's A.I. assistant J.A.R.V.I.S., expressed his excitement on how his new character, The Vision, joined in the team in a "quite extraordinarily shocking way."

"It's just been, like I said, a really lovely working experience. I think there's a lot of, initially in the plot, as it were, a lot of distrust, and that has to be navigated by The Vision, and he does it in a quite extraordinarily shocking way. He gains their trust in a real – it will be – it's a real roof-raiser of a moment. Everybody will flip," he said.

"Avengers: Age of Ultron" is scheduled to land in theaters May 1, 2015.
