Fans might get what they want as rumors are claiming Marvel Studios is already on its way to make a film featuring a crossover from both the "Avengers" and "Guardians of the Galaxy" franchises.

During an interview with Yahoo! UK, the cast and director of the "Guardians of Galaxy" film spoke out about their thoughts on a crossover film.

The movie's director, James Gunn spoke about the possibility of such a film coming out.

"We talked about all sorts of possibilities. I know what the basic plan is. That could or could not include a couple of Avengers and a couple of Guardians meeting up, or all of the Avengers and all of the Guardians. But we do inhabit the same universe and they're pretty big personalities that are likely to, at some point or another, run into each other," Gunn says in the interview.

Vin Diesel, who voices Groot in the "Guardians" film, says that both sets of fans of the franchises would certainly demand something like a crossover movie and there are already ongoing discussions about the possibility.

The issue of Thanos appearing in "Age of Ultron" is already resolved as Kevin Feige, the president of Marvel Studios, says that the titan won't be appearing in the second "Avengers" movie.

"He's not part of Avengers 2," Feige says according to Scott Huver of Comic Book Resources. "I think Thanos kind of does what he wants, shows up where he wants to. And I'm not going to tell him otherwise, so you don't know exactly."
