'Avengers 2: Age of Ultro's Release Date, News: Movie Trailers, Upcoming Characters and Other New Updates

The much-anticipated sequel to Joss Whedon's all-star superhero film is now in its post-production stage and an official synopsis from Marvel Studios has already been revealed. Now fans are wondering when they could get a legitimate glimpse of the semi-finished project. According to the latest reports, they won't have to wait that long.

As reported, "Avengers 2: Age of Ultron" is scheduled for release on May 1, 2015 in North American theaters. Its promo trailers, according to Screenrant, can be expected to arrive around November.

In their report, they cited Russian website FilmPro (via CBM) indicating that the first trailer for "Avengers 2" will likely run before Nolan's upcoming sci-fi film "Interstellar" is released on Nov. 7.

However, they pointed out the possibility that it could even be earlier than the said date.

"The idea that we could see our first proper trailer for Age of Ultron in theaters as soon as November is exciting, but with trailers routinely finding their way online well before they debut in theaters, it is entirely possible that we could see the footage sometime in late October," the publication reported.

Meanwhile, Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch have already been confirmed to appear in the upcoming movie. Said to bring some "major conflict to The Avengers," the "twins" will eventually have to help out the superhero team to prevent Ultron from destroying humanity.

With them, other new characters were also rumored to have taken part of the project: The Vision and Baron Von Strucker. Unlike the latter, The Vision's involvement in the sequel was somewhat profoundly indicated in a concept art released during the 2014 Comic-Con in San Diego.

Rumored to be played by Paul Bettany, The Vision is created by Ultron to prove that he too can create life. For comic-readers, they might already know that the android will turn against its master and end up fighting alongside the Avengers.
