'Avengers 2' News: Marvel Announces More Promo Footage to Come Out This Week

Marvel initially announced that it would launch the much-awaited glimpse to their upcoming movie "The Avengers: Age of Ultron" right before the showing of "Marvel's Agents of SHIELD" on ABC.

Then someone, who clearly couldn't contain his or her excitement, uploaded the trailer a week in advance. Marvel conceded and chose to post a proper HD version of the trailer.

For the first 24 hours of the release, reports indicated that the preview amassed over 30 million views. The highlight of the video? Iron-Man getting inside the Hulkbuster armor while confronting the raging Hulk.

Now, to prevent other pre-mature releases, Marvel once again promises to reveal more footages after this week's "Agents of SHIELD."

"In a press release, Marvel said a hearty 'thank you' to all the fans who watched (and watched and watched) the 'Avengers 2′ trailer. And, because, as they say, 'the best way to say thanks is to give you more,' they're giving us two exclusive looks at 'Avengers 2′ over the next two weeks," Screen Crush stated in their report.

Though it hasn't been revealed of what the contents of the next footage will be about, the website speculated that it will cover some scenes to the trailer that was exclusively screened at this year's San Diego Comic-Con.

"Naturally, the arrival of the trailer meant that fans started picking apart every single shot in an attempt to figure out all of the film's secrets in advance," the website went on to say.

"The Avengers: Age of Ultron" will once again feature actors Robert Downey Jr. as Tony Stark/Iron Man; Chris Evans as Steve Rogers/Captain America; Chris Hemsworth as Thor, and others.

The movie is slated to hit the theaters on May 1, 2015.
